at the Embassy of Ethiopia

Wow - things seem to finally be moving forward!  I can't believe it - Laura from The Assistant Stork sent me an email to let me know the roads were fine and they took our Dossier to the US Dept of State and it was all sealed this morning.  Then they delivered it to the Embassy of Ethiopia and left it all there for them!  So hopefully they can pick it up tomorrow, and it will be in the mail to AAI by Friday - or early next week.  OH MY GOSH - just amazing.

A lot to freak out about - wish we could use that tax credit THIS YEAR - but I know that's not possible even though we're probably half way through the fees - we'll get there.  Please continue to pray - I keep reading other blogs and that miracles do happen.  Things just work out if they are meant to be and I have to believe God won't let us down on this - we worked so hard to get to this point.  We've lost so much in the last 7 years I can't believe he'd take this away from us now - so we'll continue to pray for our child - or the boy from my dreams - little Oliverta or Oliverte?

And if you really want some tears and read some great stories - you can look at the archives of this blog  - it was started in 2004 when we realized my mom was fighting leukemia, through to Nate's birth and the illnesses and losses of my in laws and my grandma - you can see some pictures of beautiful people of our lives - that have shaped our love and faith in God.  As hard as those times were, they built our faith and strength to what it is today - more than I ever imagined it would back in 2004.

God Bless
Gail
