We continue to choose the road less traveled. Our stories started in New York and Michigan. We took an detour to New Jersey, and had a most excellent adventure to Ethiopia. In July, 2013 we moved our family from Detroit to Texas. People can say a lot about us, but they can't accuse us of being boring....

Mom is Home!
Yesterday mom was not doing well, just feeling the effects of the chemo. She was extremely tired and nauseous . Today mom was able to come home. She is still very tired and not really up to visitors for at least a few days. Phone calls will probably be short since she is so tired. I am glad to have her home where she can get some good rest without the hospital noises going on. She will continue radiation at the herkimer clinic monday through friday most likely. We will find out tomorrow. Thanks in advance for everyones continued prayers.

Jennifer,
I'm certainly glad your mother is home, but I also know that you will bear a huge burden over the next few weeks. So some of the prayers are for you too. I am going to be there next weekend - it's very hard to stay away. I will stay at La Casa de Herkimer Motel. And, unless plans have changed, Craig, et al, will be there too. Craig, please let me know if that is still planned.
I'll talk with you all later in the week. Uncle Bill
